We have a deep passion to provide support to biological girls and women at odds with their identity.
In a Hubbard study in Trans News, 2022, it was estimated that there are 1.2 million women living in America with gender dysphoria who wish to transition.
The DSM for gender dysphoria identifies that this is a woman who feels deeply displeased at presenting as a woman, at wearing women's clothing and make up.
This is 2024, a time where women can be any thing that they want to be, wearing anything that they want, let's empower our women to feel that they can be themselves in whatever they wear. The length of your hair doesn't make you a woman, or whether you do or don't wear make up, or who you are attracted to. Being a woman is part of your DNA, it is encoded in every cell.
You're a woman.... because that's who you were born to be!

AAWAA members work towards good standing in the community and use fact and evidence, reason and rationality, courtesy and compassion to make our case. We act based on these qualities to point out where current and established frameworks and obligations designed to protect women and girls are being eroded, undermined, ignored, and/or disregarded, and we engage with those who have legislative authority, political accountability, and social responsibility for the safeguarding, protection, and advancement of women and girls.

Some people feel distressed about their transition. Many others feel more ambivalent. Some detransition. Others may not physically detransition, but their minds have detransitioned: they’ve moved on from an ideology that led them to believe they could become another person, and they’ve come to realise that this ideology can cause harm.
While there’s plenty of support for the happily transitioned, there’s not much out there for those who’ve been let down by the healthcare profession. The sense of disenchantment can be hard to bear.
We launched ‘Beyond Trans’ to meet the specific needs of detransitioners, as well as those who are in a more uncertain space.
We believe it’s time that the varying needs of different groups are offered comprehensive help.​
